Anthropic Launches Claude Enterprise with 500K Context Window

Anthropic has launched Claude Enterprise, a new subscription plan for its AI assistant aimed at business customers. This will compete directly with OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise, which debuted about a year ago.

Claude Enterprise expands on Anthropic's existing offerings with enhanced capabilities and security features. The plan includes a massive 500K token context window. This is significantly more than the 128K context window available in ChatGPT Enterprise. With a 500K context window, Anthropic says you can expect Claude to handle:

  • Up to 100 30-minute sales transcripts
  • Up to 100K lines of code
  • Up to 15 full financial reports

The company will also be bringing native integrations for businesses to connect various enterprise data sources. The first of these is a GitHub integration (now available in beta) that will allow teams to sync their repositories and use Claude to do things like debug code, onboard new engineers, and develop new features.

Security is another focal point of Claude Enterprise. The platform comes equipped with key features like Single Sign-On (SSO), role-based permissions, audit logs, and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) to ensure companies can manage sensitive data securely. Like OpenAI, Anthropic says that it does not train Claude on any data from users on the enterprise plan.

Early adopters of Claude Enterprise include GitLab and Midjourney. Interested teams can contact Anthropic Sales to learn about pricing and to get started.
