Copenhagen-based Corti, a startup that provides AI solutions in healthcare and public safety, has raised $60 million in Series B funding. The round was co-led by Prosus Ventures and Atomico, with participation from existing backers Eurazeo, EIFO, and Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker.

The new capital will support Corti's rapid growth and continued innovation in conversational AI for healthcare and emergency response. Corti's proprietary technology uses natural language processing and speech recognition to analyze interactions in real-time. Their AI "co-pilot" provides guidance to clinicians, optimizes workflows, assists with documentation, and improves triage and quality assurance.

Corti is deployed by major healthcare providers, insurers, and public safety agencies in Europe and the U.S., already analyzing over 100 million patient interactions annually. The funding will help Corti expand its global footprint.

Corti co-founder and CTO Lars Maaløe, PhD, noted the company's commitment to pioneering AI advances through rigorous research. Corti's published studies demonstrate the platform's clinical impact - reducing medical errors, improving efficiency, and enhancing patient outcomes.

The Series B enables Corti to scale its transformative solutions more broadly across healthcare and public safety. As CEO Andreas Cleve explained, Corti's human-AI partnership amplifies professionals' capabilities, thereby improving care quality, lowering costs, and easing administrative burdens.

Corti's staggering growth since it raised a $27 Million Series A round in 2021, validates the immense value of conversational AI to augment busy clinicians and emergency dispatchers. As the company deploys its new capital to broaden its reach and deepen its technological capabilities, it hopes to usher in a new era of AI-powered medicine that improves patient outcomes worldwide.
