Dell and CrowdStrike Partner to Deliver AI-Powered Managed Detection and Response

Dell Technologies and CrowdStrike have expanded their strategic partnership, aiming to help businesses defend against increasingly complex cyberattacks. The collaboration will see Dell's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services powered by CrowdStrike's industry-leading AI-native Falcon XDR platform, offering customers a comprehensive security solution.

The 2024 CrowdStrike Global Threat Report highlights the growing sophistication and speed of cyberattacks, as well as the widening cybersecurity skills gap. To address these challenges, organizations require a holistic, managed security solution that simplifies operations and complements existing security and IT teams. The partnership between Dell and CrowdStrike aims to deliver just that.

Mihir Maniar, VP of infrastructure, edge and security services portfolio at Dell Technologies, emphasized the importance of working with industry leaders like CrowdStrike in the current security landscape. He stated that customers need scalable, outcome-based security solutions to stay ahead of evolving threats, and the combination of MDR and the CrowdStrike platform empowers customers to reduce threat exposures, detect and respond to incidents, and recover applications and systems.

Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that expanding their alliance with Dell will bring industry-leading protection to more customers. He added that together, Dell and CrowdStrike can provide all customers, regardless of size, with the best security outcomes: stopping breaches, consolidating point products, and driving down costs.

The powerful combination of Dell's global security operations experts, proactive threat hunting capabilities, and the AI-native Falcon platform aims to deliver the security customers need across multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments. The new offering is now available for global customers and channel partners.

Overall, the partnership between Dell and CrowdStrike represents a significant step forward in the fight against cyberattacks, leveraging AI to protect businesses from generative AI, stealth social engineering, and endpoint attacks. By combining their respective strengths, the two companies are delivering a comprehensive, managed security solution that helps organizations stay ahead of increasingly complex threats.
